Belgian fellas of Stavroz. I only became a bigger fan listening to this. Waw. Spectacular. Goosebumps all over.
I took a print screen of my friend Gi’s Instagram and kept it in my Google Photos forever. Here, I feel I can let it fly as she’s living next to me in our house in Morro das Pedras, Floripa!!! Let’s see what you think.

BE YOU.

Be yourself always, without detours, and show only this Self to the outside world. This makes naturally your mind and body balanced. And also your opinion towards the outside world should only be your opinion and not the one of the media and worst of all social media. Brazil is the 3rd country that uses the most time on social media. This means everything will go first through a machine, then it will enter your brain, to then have an adapted Self to the outer world. Everybody that watched ‘The Social Dilemma’ gets the word ‘machine’ here as something very virus-like that is taking over the world, to not even exaggerate in these times. Another virus that makes elections have another outcome even; which has happened here in Brazil. The world feels more and more upside down until we can’t reverse it anymore. Let’s not go that dark, maybe. But yes, it’s freaky.

However, keeping it inside instead of out there in the world, full of judgment, unfortunately, isn’t a good idea either. So put that ego aside and listen to your inner Self to find your way and yourself in a natural way. This is the problem with the social dilemma that all people fall victim to. The majority thinks without its heart and follows society blindly instead of looking to yourself and asking if you are okay and happy with your life.

“The more you live as your true Self, the more you attract situations that resonate with your pure desire that you put in the world with the intention of love. This is the true power of connection, if we all realize that we are, all of us, a thread of a big web of unity.”

— Hannah Cuppen with ‘Liefdesroep’

!!! Book tip, waw, seriously, goosebumps (again!) to read your thoughts in writing… I have an idea of maybe translating this book into English. Yes, I want to share it that badly!

Driving my awesome van on the Brazilian highways. The endless thoughts that come up while doing something on automatic pilot for hours and hours…

Challenge your body and mind.

I’m doing a challenge: one day running on the beach, one day expanding my yoga practice here in Morro das Pedras, Floripaaa. Yes, galera, we’re back where we came from and falling in love with the island again. This challenge allows me to get to my limits and it’s awesome what my body is capable of. At the same time, I’m challenging my mind. So this connection of body and mind that’s talked about a lot, I’m definitely feeling conscious now. A very important lesson again. The running gives me the limit of the body until every muscle says stop. I’m a person that really loves to play with these limits and to take this deep dive into the unknown, my Ascendant and Moon are in Sagittarius for the astrology freaks (makes sense right?). Then, on the other hand, my yoga practice makes my mind broaden widely and spaciously. Again, I’d like to see how far my limits reach in the (limitless) knowledge of this spiritual path I’m taking. Until I reached satisfaction with how I feel, think & live I’ll be searching for something new.

Take as much time as you need to reach these limits. You take your time for these thinking processes to start and to finally putting all your thoughts in order. These thoughts can go deeper by looking inside instead of being distracted by anything, really. Give the difficult questions time, as much as you need, and it will get its answer when it has boiled enough in that center of your body. While keeping your body busy, I always have the feeling of thinking of nothing at all. Running, yoga, and playing the piano provide this for me standardly. It should be a habit of everyone to find this activity that one likes to make it a fun thing to put your mind off. ‘I’m off’ gets this negative connotation, but interpret it more as I’m offline; I’m not connected to the outside. However, the inside, at that moment, grows to this open book that you can’t stop reading. It’s a scary thing to make memories come back. To think about them and processing them with as much as your mind needs. Let it be angry once in a while. Totally justified if you look back. This is an important turning point; the point of looking back with these other glasses, pinker and brighter. Enlightened with your (and only yours!) sparkle.

Tell yourself why you feel this anger; sadness; jealousy; regret; anything really… Try to put in one word which feeling comes first to your mind. Write it down. Then more and more feelings and things will come. Write them down around this one word. You’ll see you’re making this spider of words, bigger and bigger, until you and everybody is scared. This way you connect with your feelings deep inside. Connect to these roots you unrooted to make place for something beautiful. Something new. Something adventurous. Let’s go, New chapter.

And make yourself talk about this big spider in the room where everybody’s scared of and that nobody wants to talk about. Put this taboo spider right in front of everyone to the point that people see and feel it’s something you want to share. It’s important for you, and your outside world too, to have this information out loud in the world. Use this inner compass of your desire and see, feel, say, smell, hear things differently, resonating with your intuition. Only then, I feel, you can get closure and peace of mind.

This is me thinking about eating all the cheese in front of me (obviously!) and holding my book of memories, thoughts, valuable information, and details. My purpose for having these things in writing is because I can confront the ‘evolved’ me with the Camille back at that time. This is our traditional cheese and wine evening once a month, mmm enjoying romantic stuff xxx

Our little bus of love…

Has to make a little stop because of Vini’s surgery… How close the mind and body are connected became clear to me when I saw how his body and mind worked during the pre-and after-surgery. The mind is going to know something and is slowly but steadily going to express it in the body and vice versa. It’s something very powerful. The mind and body are 2 different systems in theory but it’s actually one big process, working together and helping you. Everybody should know the power of this connection. Doing yoga while smoking a joint is the best thing for me to connect, but to really connect these 2 things we’re talking about, mind and body is Ayahuasca the answer, I guess. Ayahuasca connects these two to overcome your biggest traumas. Vini and I are already looking for places here in Floripa to experience a ceremony and get eye-to-eye with these things rooted deep within us. I can’t wait, actually. Something new. Something adventurous. Let’s go.

mmm miss these times, though, this minimalist life, especially.
